Direct Reimbursement Dental & Vision Plan
With the Careington Direct Reimbursement Plan, you have the freedom to see the dentist or vision provider of your choice. You simply pay for your services up front, submit your receipt, and receive reimbursement for a portion of the cost. This gives you flexibility, transparent costs, and the ability to use providers you already know and trust, without being limited to a network.
Plan Benefits:
Maximum of $1,500 per participant per calendar year
- 100% of the first $200 of incurred Dental and/or Vision expenses per calendar year
- 50% of all other incurred expenses up to a maximum total reimbursement of $1,500
- Maximum of $750 of the $1,500 can be reimbursed for Vision related expenses
Dental expenses do NOT need to be paid in full before reimbursement, but Vision expenses do.

Careington Discount Plan
If you enrolled in the White Castle and Vision Direct Reimbursement Plan, you were also automatically enrolled in the Careington Discount Plan (at no additional cost to you).
Careington is a discount program that will help reduce your dental and vision out-of-pocket expenses by accessing participating providers. It's important to note that you can still see your same providers; just show them your Careington card at the time of service to see if a discount will be applied or contact Careington to find a network provider that will offer discounts on your dental and vision expenses.
Submit your claims to the White Castle Benefits Department for reimbursement as you have always done (after any Careington discounts have been applied). The Direct Reimbursement Plan features have not changed; we added Careington to help you stretch your dental and vision reimbursement dollars even further!
Dental Discounts:
Careington has owned and managed dental networks for 30 years and has recently contracted with DenteMax, another quality dental network provider, to create a "combined" national discount dental network with significant presence. This combined network is known as the Maximum Care Discount Plus Network.
The Maximum Care Discount Plus Network creates one of the largest dental networks nationally with a focus on neighborhood dentists. The network combines the outstanding network management skills of two great organizations and results in discounts of 5% to 60% below the 80th percentile of Reasonable and Customary charges.
Vision Discounts:
VSP Vision Savings Pass is a discount vision program that offers savings on eye care and eyewear. With the best choices in eyewear, VSP makes it easy to find the perfect frame. Members can choose from great brands like Anne Klein, bebe, Calvin Klein, Flexon, Lacoste, Nike, Nine West, and more.
Members receive:
- Access to discounts through a trusted, private-practice VSP doctor
- One rate of $50 for eye exams**
- 15% savings on contact lens exams***
- Special pricing on complete pairs of glasses and sunglasses
- Unlimited use on materials throughout the year
